Simitis drowning

Former president Simitis was in Thaso having a swim with two ministers. Suddenly he starts drowning. One of the two students who were passing by dives to save him.
-"what gift would you like from me to express my gratitude?"
-"A wheelchair", and Simitis says:
-"What are you going to do with a wheelchair, son?"
and the student answers:
-"If my father finds out I saved you he's gona break my bones."
